At the top of the list is George Dubya Bush who did serve, sort of, maybe, it's hard to tell. Dubya was a trained fighter pilot like his Dad George H. W. Bush with one big difference. The old man actually fought in his fighter plane. Dubya on the other hand used daddy's pull to get his ass in the Air National Guard in order to avoid Combat. A gig with the Guard or reserves was a virtual guarantee that you would not get shot at. At leased not in Vietnam. Bill Clinton didn't serve and outwardly opposed the war but registered for the draft. His number came up 311 which never reached the draft level. He took a stand and still threw the dice with the rest of us. I can respect that. Dubya fucking faked it. This goes to show how much a load of crap all this conservative patriot ranting is. If it was true John McCain would have been the Republican Nominee in 2000. McCain was railroaded by Carl Rove propaganda and we got Dubya.. Why do you suppose that is. It was because McCain is not controllable and would probably been a competent leader and actually think before he crapped or made a decision. I'm not sure what Dubya was doing other than being controlled by Darth Vader Chaney and the dark side. It's like what Gover Norquist (non serving mother fucker) said, "We only need someone with five working digits in the white house to sign our bills into law". * George W. Bush: failed to complete his six-year National Guard; got assigned to Alabama so he could campaign for family friend running for U.S. Senate; failed to show up for required medical exam, disappeared from duty.
* B-1 Bob Dornan: Consciously enlisted after fighting was over in Korea.
* Phil Gramm: did not serve.
* Dana Rohrabacher: did not serve.
* JC Watts: did not serve.
* Jack Kemp: did not serve. "Knee problem," although continued in NFL for 8 years.
* Dan Quayle: Journalism unit of the Indiana National Guard.
* Rudy Giuliani: did not serve.
* George Pataki: did not serve.
* Spencer Abraham: did not serve.
* Lindsey Graham: National Guard lawyer.
* Arnold Schwarzenegger: AWOL from Austrian army base.

There's more but I think I made my point. So What the hell is the point you say? The point is this, disagreeing with what we do as a country is not unpatriotic, not serving in the military is not necessarily unpatriotic. Mouthing off about patriotism and not backing it up is HYPOCRACY, and every asshole on this list is a hypocrite.
